Small Potatoes is an animated entertainment series aimed at pre-school children. It features a group of four potatoes who sing songs together about different subjects. The series is written and directed by Josh Selig, creator of Wonder Pets and 3rd & Bird. The "Small Potatoes" is currently airing on CBeebies in the UK and the potatoes will make their US broadcast debut in September on Disney Junior.

Characters

The series features four potatoes: Ruby, Olaf, Chip and Nate. Simon Snail, a monocled snail with a top hat, has also appeared twice in the series, and is referred to by this name in the episode "Imagination".

Baby Potato, Olaf's and Ruby's Daughter, is seen in "Moon baby" and "Potatoes at heart". Olaf potato is very fat and Nate Potato is very long and skinny , Chip Potato is perfectly normal shaped potato and Ruby Potato the lead singer in most songs is a small orange potato. The Baby potato joins in halfway through the series.
